309 Ornaments were sent in to the Library of Congress on November 2, 2006.

They were in 4 boxes, with a total weight of 126 pounds. They arrived in Washington on November 4th.

700 unfinished ornaments were sent out to 465 people (some people ordered multiple ornaments). Those who signed up for the ornaments close to the start of the project seemed to be more likely to complete them and send them back. 

All but one artist were female. 

Two artists who live outside the US participated, one in Canada and one from Japan.

Florida and Pennsylvania were the highest represented states, with 21 ornaments submitted each, followed by California with 19. 

The city of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, was the most represented city, with 5 ornaments submitted.

At least 3 SDP presidents submitted ornaments.
One MDA submitted an ornament.
Numberous CDAs submitted (I didn't keep close enough track of that, sorry!)
Many TDAs and OSCIs participated.
